Should you hold an unhappy owner to their agreement?
Welcome back to another Q&A Friday episode, brought to you by the amazing team at Inspection Manager who are always looking for ways to make the lives of Property Manager easier. In this week’s episode, a Principal asks “We’ve recently lost management of a property to a competitor due to service issues and the owner rang me upset that we refused to hand the file over to the new agency until the notice period was up. When I spoke to the team about it, they said it was normal practice to do this but although I don’t like losing properties, I think if the client is unhappy, we should just let them go. Did we do the right thing?” If you'd like to have your question answered, please head over to www.pmxcite.com, click the 'Free Stuff' tab, scroll to the bottom of the page, submit your question and we’ll answer it for you on Q&A Friday!
