When you notice a strong smell whilst conducting a routine inspection

This weeks question is: "I've just completed a routine inspection at a property and this is the first physical one that has been conducted for nearly 12 months due to lockdown restrictions. The house has a very strong and overpowering smell from the dog that is really bad. These tenants have permission to have their pet inside and the house is immaculate - it is like they don't even notice it.
